MyAutismTeam
MyAutismTeam is a free social network that makes it easy for you to get the emotional support you need from others like you, and gain practical advice and insights on managing treatment or therapies for autism. You can post daily triumphs, find people like you, and ask questions.
NYC Family Advocacy Information Resource (FAIR)
NYC Fair provides a mentee / mentor program connecting families with mentors who have a deeper understanding of the field and can share that knowledge with those are just learning how the system works.

MOCHA is an active support network that offers mom nights out, phone support groups and more. Dads are welcome as well.

CAPC offers weekend parent support groups. CAPC has locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens.

Queens Autism Parent Group
This group is for families affected by autism in the Queens, NY and surrounding areas offering parent support, parent training and workshops, family events, play dates, adult only gatherings, and community referrals.
Bronx Parents Autism Support Circle
This Bronx-based group boasting 200 parents meets every Tuesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. In addition, there are casual gatherings and informational events as well as an active (and private) Facebook community that offers resources, guidance and connection.

Holds Parent Support Group Meetings in Staten Island.
